Summary

This one-day course is designed to provide attendees with a thorough understanding of the design, implementation and verification of what SIZA are all about.

The Sustainability Initiative of South Africa (SIZA) is an alliance-based structure that leads and manages social practices and environmental assurance for the South African agriculture industry.

The course includes the background to Ethical Trade, an introduction to the SIZA program, SIZA Audit Processes and Methodology as well as the SIZA Standard. Detailed attention is given to the requirements of the standard and practical application of the requirements.

Learning Assessment: After attending the full one-day course, participants will receive an NSF Certificate of Attendance.

Every learner will receive a data stick with all the relevant SIZA and legislative documentation. Should you wish to make notes during the course it is recommended that you bring a hard copy of the SIZA standard.
